On January 22, 2026, Hanlie Muliani, together with the SOA Psychological & Educational Support Center team, conducted a Parent Seminar at Sekolah Pelita Bangsa Cirebon focusing on the social skills children should develop at different ages and developmental stages.
This seminar served as a continuation of the Social Smart Class program previously delivered to students from Primary through Secondary School. Its purpose was to help parents understand how social skills develop over time and how they can reinforce these skills at home, ensuring that learning extends beyond the classroom.
During the seminar, parents learned about age-appropriate social competencies, including effective communication, friendship-building, perspective-taking, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation. They also received practical strategies for creating everyday opportunities to nurture these skills through positive family interactions.
At SOA, we believe that children’s social development is most effective when schools and families work together. We would like to thank Sekolah Pelita Bangsa Cirebon and all participating parents for their enthusiastic involvement. We hope the seminar has provided families with valuable knowledge and practical tools to support their children’s social growth and overall well-being.
