“I’m Ready for My Future” Talk Show at SMPK 5 Penabur

On May 13, 2026, the SOA Psychological & Educational Support Center team had the privilege of visiting SMPK 5 Penabur to conduct a Grade 9 Talk Show titled “I’m Ready for My Future.”

As students prepare for the transition from junior high school to the next stage of their education, the talk show was designed to help them reflect on their strengths, interests, and aspirations while building confidence for the future. The session encouraged students to view this important milestone as an opportunity for growth, exploration, and self-discovery.

Throughout the program, students explored topics such as understanding their personal strengths, making informed decisions, setting meaningful goals, and developing the mindset and resilience needed to navigate future academic and career pathways. They were also encouraged to embrace lifelong learning, remain open to new opportunities, and recognize that career development is a journey shaped by continuous growth and self-awareness.

Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, students were invited to reflect on their dreams and the practical steps they can begin taking today to prepare for their future. The session emphasized that success is not only about choosing the right path but also about developing the character, adaptability, and confidence to thrive in an ever-changing world.

SOA sincerely thanks SMPK 5 Penabur for the opportunity to share this experience with their students. We hope the talk show has inspired Grade 9 students to approach the future with greater confidence, purpose, and excitement for the opportunities that lie ahead.
