On March 4, 2026, the SOA Psychological & Educational Support Center conducted a Parenting Seminar at St. Nicholas Citra for the parents of Kidsland through Grade 4 students. The seminar was titled “Behind Every Great Child, There Is a Great Parent.”
The seminar emphasized the vital role parents play in shaping their children’s character, emotional well-being, and lifelong development. Participants were encouraged to reflect on how their everyday interactions, guidance, and support influence their children’s confidence, resilience, and ability to navigate challenges.
Throughout the session, parents explored practical approaches to building strong parent-child relationships through effective communication, empathy, positive discipline, and emotional support. The seminar also highlighted the importance of creating a nurturing home environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Through engaging discussions and evidence-based insights, parents gained practical strategies to foster healthy development while supporting their children’s academic, social, and emotional growth. The session reinforced the idea that while every child has unique strengths and abilities, a caring and supportive family environment plays a fundamental role in helping those strengths flourish.
